The Herds Lagos
Five days walking with a herd of puppet animals through the city. What the city said back.

For five days in October, a herd of life-size puppet animals walked through Lagos, past markets, schools, lagoon edges and motor parks, as part of The Herds, a global public art project on climate displacement.
These are notes from the road: what we carried, what we lost, the conversations that happened on the median strip at 4pm, and the quiet way a giraffe made of cardboard and ply can stop traffic and start a sentence about the weather.
Field notes are a form. They refuse the closure of an essay. What follows is unfinished on purpose.
